Yes. GTA 6 is a story-driven single-player game following Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, and story mode is the whole game at launch. Rockstar North's Rob Nelson said his playthrough took about 80 hours.
The question usually comes from GTA 5 players who spent most of their time in GTA Online. For GTA 6 it's the other way round: the story is all there is on day one.
The campaign is split into chapters, like Red Dead Redemption 2, and Rockstar says money matters to it: at some points you need to raise a set amount of cash before the next missions open. Choices big and small change how the story plays out, which Rockstar hopes will tempt you into a second playthrough. Ultimate Edition extras unlock chapter by chapter.
