The best-known GTA 6 ending theory says Lucia will betray Jason, based on a Trailer 2 shot where she hugs him while holding a gun behind his back. Rockstar has said nothing about the ending, so it is unknown.
The post went up on May 10, 2025, four days after Trailer 2, and passed 8,800 upvotes. Commenters added Rockstar's character bios: Jason's says meeting Lucia "could be the best or worst thing to ever happen to him", while Lucia is "committed to her plan".
Two other readings circulate. One is the Bonnie and Clyde ending, where both die together; Rockstar's own "Bonnie and Clyde-type narrative" line, from its Dazed interview, gave it new life, though Humphries said nothing about how the story ends. The other is multiple endings: Rockstar says choices change the story, but has not said there is more than one ending.
Our take: the gun shot is a single trailer frame, and Rockstar's previews stress that Jason and Lucia stay partners through the main story. Expect spoilers to settle this within days of November 19.
