Unknown. Rockstar has not mentioned cheats in any announcement, store listing or preview. Every main GTA game has had them, and so did Red Dead Redemption 2, so most fans expect them, but no real GTA 6 code exists yet.
The silence is total: we found no mention of cheats, for or against, in Rockstar's GTA 6 Newswire posts, its support pages, the PlayStation and Xbox listings, or the IGN, VICE and Game Informer previews.
Our take: cheats are likely to exist, given the series' history, but that is an expectation, not evidence. Any "full GTA 6 cheat list" published before November 19 is invented, and so is any money cheat claim. Our full tracker on the cheats page will list only codes we have tested ourselves after launch.
Evidence for
- GTA 5 had cheats entered as button sequences or dialed as phone numbers, and using one disabled trophies and achievements for that session. (All GTA 5 cheat codes and phone numbers for PS5, PS4, Xbox, and PC (GamesRadar+), Sep 11, 2026)
- Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar's most recent game, had cheats typed into a Settings menu, with the phrases hidden in the world. (Every Red Dead Redemption 2 Cheat Has Been Discovered (IGN), Aug 17, 2021)
Evidence against
Nothing yet.
